helicopter ride! we went to the festival of flight at long beach airport...right down there on the runway area among some pretty cool planes, food trucks, live music and venders. oh and regular flights taking off right there by us.

this is the bayview trail at upper newport bay nature preserve and ecological reserve. we took a 4 mile walk around bay along several trails. the muth interpretive center is really nice and if you like this kind if thing i'd recommend it. i like it and my son enjoyed it too. i went here myself recently and i wanted to take my son there so we walked around a lot more today. plenty of parking and it's free. trails for walking, biking and horses. and on a trail we were on we saw a few beautiful homes! lots of money there!
