i took a little walk to old world village while my son was getting his wisdom teeth pulled nearby. they sure did that quick. i got the call that he was done and i was like, already?! ha! and while i'm typing this in the evening at home, the dr called to check on him.

devo tribute band in the canyon tonight. fun! i saw devo in the early 80s. we were up in front row. somehwere in LA. mark mothersbaugh came down into the audience and got up on the seat in front of me and grabbed my hand and held it to his chest as he sang. haha! so funny and fun. i also got a guitar pick that was thrown out into the crowd. boyfriend at the time grabbed the hair thing off the head of one of them when they came down to the audience. what a jerk move! that was one of the most fun concerts i have ever been to. not the best concert by far. but just a lot of fun.

i went up to the hill to walk around and also hope to see the space station go by. i'm pretty sure i saw it. it looked like a plane flying a little higher and faster than usual and i thought i could tell from way down here, a little different shape than a plane. in this picture you can see a bright star!

i took a sweet walk today. not gonna lie, walking down the path had me a little nervous...a little anxiety kicking in...but, i'm a bit of a scardy cat around cliffs. it's beautiful and there were a bunch of surfers. it's really not a difficult walk, i'm a wimp and i admit it! buuut, high steep cliffs...so...

we took a walk this afternoon around marine stadium. there were a few boats and water skiers and also a farmers market with music! that was a nice surprise and we will definitely be back to the market. a lovely walk along the water.

we had lunch at in n out and then watched the planes come in to lax. this picture is more from the side and i took it as we were leaving, but we were sitting in the area where they go right over you and they are so close. the big four engine planes especially come in super low and loud. it's really cool.

"life moves pretty fast. if you don't stop to look around once in a while, you could miss it." bueller bueller bueller bueller... this is the house from "ferris bueller's day off". it's in the bixby knolls neighborhood in long beach. there are several houses in the neighborhood that were in movies; american pie, not another teen movie, and donnie darco to name a few. several of them are on this same street, country club drive. it's a very nice neighborhood and especially country club drive, with a lot of big beautiful houses.
