"worthy of love" birthday party. i volunteered today giving out tshirts and hoodies. it was a cool event for the kids. i like working with this group. they have monthly birthday parties for children and their families living in shelters.

i haven't been in a while and it felt good to go. there weren't too many people there when i took this picture which is what i wanted for the picture. not trying to invade privacy! by the time i left it was pretty full.

a work day with police on horses hanging around my booth. always a fun sight to see them patrolling the parking lots.

mushrooms are weird. kind of fascinating. but weird. so i was checking out this mushroom before throwing them all away and decided to take a picture or two. i'm posing the little guys. i'm snapping pics, and i cut the stem cuz it was a long stem...and then...worms...little white gross worms crawling around in the stem..*shudder*
