rooftop view from the union rescue mission. i was there tonight for an event celebrating birthdays for children who live at the shelter.

my phone camera can not even come close to capturing the beautiful view from this street on the hill. not even a good camera could. you really do need to be there in person and take in the whole panoramic view. it was an absolutely perfect beautiful day. and someone is building a home right there down just below the road in a precarious spot. that's what those stick things are, the beginning of building and planning. two men were there obviously working on talking about building it. i asked if they are building a house there and one guy said yes. i said that's going to be hard! he said "nah not that hard". ok! haha!

day 299 anaheim hills

hiked around a bit today at anaheim hills walking and riding trails, mostly weir canyon trail. these are more than just taking a walk kind of trails but not too stenuous either. it's so good to be out in nature and it was perfect weather. i saw some critters, even a roadrunner! definitely got a bit of a workout.

the fourth annual roland sands "moto beach classic" motorcycle racing event at bolsa chica. lots and lots of motorcycles, racing, stunts, music, venders, food. it was fun! all on the beach! well...the parkling lot, but right there at the beach!

i took a walk around huntington today at the end of the air show. i didn't see any of them up close but tomorrow i will be getting better pictures of these awesome machines! i swear i think i saw sammy hagar driving down main street in a green jeep but i wouldn't bet my life on it. looked like him though he was honking and waving at whoever would look. haha!
