day 143, shadow shot sunday. this surf shack is on windansea beach in san diego.

  1. It is a wonder with heavy winds there - I imagine - that it manages to stay firm! But how wonderful it would be to laze out of hot sun right on the edge of the water! And it casts a strong shadow! Lovely photo!

    Also, In answer to your question about collages, SSS2 will not be doing these! That was Tracy's specialty! But thank you for your interest!

  3. i did a little research on this surf shack. it was built in 1946 and was torn down by a storm three years later. surfers rebuilt it a year later and it's been there ever since! it was a popular place for the surf club to have luau's and parties. but i guess they got too rowdy and the luau's pretty much stopped. but it's still a popular spot, and is now a historical landmark.

  5. I I ended up there, I would NEVER want to leave--it's so gorgeous!

    If I had a shadow the size of the sun,
