california...and other places too, going beyond only one year
It is a wonder with heavy winds there - I imagine - that it manages to stay firm! But how wonderful it would be to laze out of hot sun right on the edge of the water! And it casts a strong shadow! Lovely photo! Also, In answer to your question about collages, SSS2 will not be doing these! That was Tracy's specialty! But thank you for your interest!
The little shack looks so vulnerable! I'm glad it's accompanied by a sturdy shadow.
i did a little research on this surf shack. it was built in 1946 and was torn down by a storm three years later. surfers rebuilt it a year later and it's been there ever since! it was a popular place for the surf club to have luau's and parties. but i guess they got too rowdy and the luau's pretty much stopped. but it's still a popular spot, and is now a historical landmark.
thank you gemma! i'm just happy the shadow shots are continuing!
I I ended up there, I would NEVER want to leave--it's so gorgeous!A SHADOW THE SIZE OF THE SUNIf I had a shadow the size of the sun,I’m not sure how fast I’d be able to run,Or if I could flee from its ravenous jaws,While keeping away from its razor-sharp claws!© 2012 by Magical Mystical TeacherShadows here and there
