day 162 long beach

naples canal. i usually walk around here at christmas time. when i go here at other times it is usually on the water in my kayak. it's been a long time that i have walked around by myself on a regular beautiful late afternoon. it was lovely and there were a few gondolas out doing their thing. and now i feel the need to get back out there with my kayak!

      it's nice at christmas time when most of the houses are decorated and boats are going around decorated as well. there are people playing instruments (christmas songs of course) and giving out hot chocolate and cookies. it's worth checking out! i like to be on the water on a regular day in my kayak. otherwise the walk around isn't all that exciting.
